Terms of Service
1. General
These terms of service include the terms governing the use of the online store maintained by Sumud – Finnish Palestine Network. Service provider contact information: Sumud – Finnish Palestine Network ry, Vellamonkatu 30 B, 00550 Helsinki. Business ID: 3374698-4. By purchasing products from Sumud’s online store, the customer accepts and agrees to these terms. All rights to the content of Sumud’s online store (hereinafter “Service”) belong to Sumud – Finnish Palestine Network (hereinafter “Service Provider”).
2. Personal Data and Its Use
The Service Provider is responsible for the proper handling of information provided by the customer and maintaining the customer’s privacy. Information provided by the customer may be stored in the Service Provider’s customer register. The contents and maintenance of the customer register are detailed in the Service’s privacy policy.
Mandatory information for using the Service includes the customer’s first name, last name, postal address, phone number, and email address. The Service Provider will never disclose collected personal data to third parties. Customer register information may be used for electronic direct marketing only if the customer has given consent.
3. Ordering from the Online Store
A binding sales agreement between the customer and the Service Provider is created when the Service Provider has confirmed the order made by the customer through the Service. The confirmation occurs when the Service Provider receives the customer’s payment. Products are only shipped within Finland.
4. Product Prices
The price of the ordered product is always the price displayed on the Service page at the time of ordering. Any discount codes available to the customer are entered when confirming the order, after which the online store calculates the new discounted price for the order.
5. Payment Methods
Our payment methods are bank transfer, card payment and MobilePay.
6. Delivery Methods
Shipping costs are added to the order price. The minimum shipping cost for an order is 2.40 euros, regardless of the purchase amount. Shipping costs include postage and packaging costs. Letter shipments are delivered to recipients as second-class mail, typically arriving on the fourth working day after dispatch. Orders are shipped on Tuesdays. 7. Exchange and Return Policy
According to the Consumer Protection Act, the consumer has the right to cancel their order or part of it within fourteen (14) days of receiving the product. The day of receipt is not counted in the cancellation period. You can exchange a product for another color or size or return it if you are not satisfied with it. The exchange option does not apply to pre-order products. The returned product must be unused and clean, with the product information intact. This ensures that we can sell the returned product to another customer.
When returning a product, send an email to [email protected] with the details of the product you wish to return and your IBAN account number. To send the return, visit Posti’s website at https://www.posti.fi/en/private/parcels-and-tracking/return-a-parcel and choose “Return with the original item ID”. After entering the original tracking code (format: JJFIxxxxxxFI), you will receive a six-character Helposti code for the return, which you can write on the package. Bring the package to a Posti service point, where a new address label will be printed for the package. Cover the original tracking code.
Customer returns are sent as second-class letters/packages and typically arrive within 3-4 days of dispatch. We will refund the amount corresponding to the returned products to your payment method within 14 days.

8. Service Provider’s Liability
The Service Provider is not responsible for delays or damages caused by force majeure.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from these terms of service are governed by Finnish law. All disagreements related to this agreement that cannot be resolved through negotiation will be settled in the Helsinki District Court.
10. Payment Service Provider
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.
